Several years before retirement from an engineering/sales career Roger began to revive a long lost first love of art. He chose pyrography (wood burning) because of its uniqueness in two dimensional art, the natural warmth of wood, and its historic antiquity (second only to pottery).

After spending over 4,000 hours learning his art (self-taught), he has received local as well as international recognition.

He resides in Arkansas with his wife Nancy. They are the parents of two and the grandparents of four. He looks forward to receiving the challenge of creating a wonderful piece for you.
